Oh my, I'm way behind on the CQJP 2014 Challenge. This is my eighth block.

I love this square! Since CQ is so Victorian and the Victorians dressed their boys using lace collars, etc., I think you can definitely get away with it on your squares. You did a beautiful job on this one without using lace though.
