This is my 96 year old mother with her birthday gifts from the family this past weekend. I weighed the bars and bags - 7 lbs!

And here she's making a wish!

My grandmother has been gone for a long time. She was born in 1884. I have always wished that she would have shared some of her life stories with me, like what her childhood was like. She taught me to crochet when I was very young, but I never thought to ask for stories of her life.; May 10, 2012 at 6:44 AM
