Chikan Embroidery - second lesson

Finished the first two lessons.  I think it looks quite delicate.  I'm using a hoop and a lighted magnifier at all times.  For the chain stitch I tried it with two strands, but unpicked and used one only.

Now I have to get down to Nancy Eha's first lesson in the Seed Bead Botany online class.

Diane, your Chikan embroidery looks great! I'm taking the class also. It is such a delicate look. I like your use of color variations. What is the seed bead online class you referenced? Sounds interesting also.

Looking good! May I ask how come you decided to use only one strand instead of two for the chain stitch? Was working two threads more difficult?

In answer to Connie's question, I am taking Nancy Eha's online course "Seed Bead Botany" offered by Maureen's Vintage Acquisitions".

And to Thelma, using two strands to stitch was no difficult. I just could not get it to come out delicately, so I used one.
