What do you think? Is this not the perfect bead for a beetle? Now, if you want to see beetles, I almost made myself ill this afternoon looking through this array of beetledom!
From beetles to bees, much friendlier creatures. To get my bee fluffy, I used the turkey knot for his body.
OMG! It looks as if it could just up and walk away! The one you did in bullion knots looks amazing too!
ReplyDeleteyes, that bead fits perfectly as a beetle body. Wow! it sure looks realistic. You have done a wonderful job! Your bee is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm over here from Hetty's blog. Your work is fabulous. I haven't done much crazy quilting, but am trying to learn how to get involved with it.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure thats a bead and not a real dryed up beetle hull?? LOL Perfect for sure, Diane
ReplyDeleteDiane!! You need to put up a warning on your page "Caution, Beetle crossing" OMG! That is so life like - you did an awesome job!
ReplyDeleteHe looks as if he came straight from the garden!
